Hello residents, welcome to our new website.
Your BCLIA Board has been actively working towards improving and maintaining our quality of lake living for the benefit of the BCL residents. Our website will help us support this cause with your support.
Addressing the association dues.
As everyone is aware everything is costing more these days. To keep up with increasing costs the decision was made to increase dues to $45 for the 2024 year by unanimous board vote. Current bylaws only allow $5 incremental increases.
Past year’s collection of dues was just over 50% of those residing in the association geography.
As neighbors and association members it is important to work together to keep our lake and properties a value to us all.
What are association dues used for.
Not only is the money used to stock the lake with fish, put on the fall chili cook off /hay ride event, cover keys, launch/lock maintenance, stamps, insurance, taxes, PO Box and a sign that has been in process for the boat launch. Funds are also used for current lake treatments, and any fees involved with the association business/special assessments.
We are a new transitioning board and interested in your concerns, support and ideas to benefit our lake and its community..
